The bar chart below shows the numbers of men and women attending various evening courses at an adult education centre in the year 2009. The pie chart gives information about the ages of these course participants.

The bar chart and pie chart delivers information about the amount of attendants of several evening classes taught at an educational center for adults in 2009, in both genders, and the ages of these learners.

Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the number of female participants exceeded those of male learners in most courses, with Sculpture being exceptional. In the same year, participants who were above 50 years old accounted for most of class attendants and people aged under 20 were the least relevant.

In the pie chart, it is clear that people who aged 50 and over contributed for 42% of class attendants while this figure of young peple who were under 20 years old accounted for only 5%. Furthermore, learners in 40-49 age group and others who aged 20-39 had the relatively similar proportion of 26%.
