As the data suggested, the majority of college students were initially accustomed to driving their private vehicles such as cars. Nevertheless, throughout the time span, they seemed to be gradually getting more keen on traveling by public transports, especially by buses.
Take a quick glance at the pie charts, it is noticeable that more than half of the people were driving to university by cars in 2004 while roughly 33% of the population tended to catch the bus at that time. However, the percentage of pupils who drove went down mostly two times to only 28% whereas the proportion of people taking the bus surged up to 46% in 5 years.
Following the figure, quite a jump was observed in the rate of human beings riding their bike to college, starting at 9% in 2004 and nearly doubling to 16% in 2009.
