The table below showss the average incomes of scientists employed by an organization

The table illustrates how much scientists get paid in average from an organization.
Overall, all positions see a huge difference in the number of males and females. Lab chief medical doctors of both genders get paid the highest among other job positions whilst staff fellow PhD is the least paid position. Moreover, most males work as a total medical doctor whereas females mostly choose total PhD.
As regards lab chief MD, which position gets paid the highest, female doctors earn, in average, 105,696 dollars, surpassing the incomes of male doctors by 10,511 dollars. However, there are only 7 female lab chief MDs, nearly twelve times less than that of males. Total MD, lab chief PhD, section chief MD and investigator MD are the positions that both genders get paid in average of more than $80000 to nearly $90000. Moreover, the gaps between males and females’ average incomes of four occupations range from the lowest of $343 to $3,945, respectively.
Total PhD, section chief Phd, investigator PhD and staff fellow PhD are the positions that pay two genders less than 80000 dollars in average, especially considering staff fellow PhD, where males and females get paid the lowest, with $34,642 and $31,848 respectively. While women working as lab chief MD are paid more than $10000 than men, men incomes when working as total PhD are $9,121 more than that of females.
