The bar chart illustrates the number of women and men teachers was set in six different types of education in 2010 in the United Kingdom.
Overall, female teachers have a tendency to teach in the basic education such as nursery and primary school, however, male teachers got a trend to teach in higher education as a university or private training institute. A specially, the total of number women teachers outweigh men teachers.
For women, they accounted for nearly 100% at school where students almost were young children, but in higher education for instance, secondary school and private training institutes, the number of females has been just approximately 50%. On the other hand, at university education, the woman declined into lower than 40%.
By contrast, men teachers dominated in university and private training institute which both of these figures reached more than 50%. In college, both males and females have similar number, but in education for children, men received just under 10%.
