You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course.
Write a letter to the college enrolment officer. In your letter
explain why you are writing
describe your circumstances
ask if a special exception can be made for you so you can enrol in the course
User
Dear Mark,
I intend to write this letter to seek support with respect to a course enrollment. Let me first share a context with you. I have read about a computer course that i deemed very important and relevant to my current degree at the college. I determine that i am going to learn many essential elements from that computer course that is surely going to help me achieve my goals in future.
However, i see a condition attached to that course. There is a pre-requisite that one should have completed an elementary course prior to enrollment to this computer course. Unfortunately, i have not done that elementary course; hence not able to enroll myself.
I would request your usual support in getting an exception for me from the management so that i can register myself for this informative course.
I look forward to your outright and swift response.
Sincerely,
Sam give a score from IELTS General Task-1 category and share your remarks for improvement
