Overall, the visitors who were adults accounted for the highest numbers, while the data for the special exhibition guests were lowest over the period. Additionally, in 2007, there were more than 520 thousand tourists came to the museum.
Regarding the total number of tourists in each year, ranking after 2007, there were 504300 visitors in 2012, followed by 441200 and 448100 people in 2002 and 1997 respectively. Looking at the figure for those were under 15, there was a downward trend happened during the peiod, which began at 120000 tourists in 1997 and decreased steadily to 82300 tourists in 2012.
Turning to the figure for adult visitors, over 300 thousand people was observed to visit the museum in 1997 and 2002. The number then rose to about 400 thousand people in 2007, before declining to 380 thousand people in 2012. The reported data turned adult visitors to the group that visisted the museum the most. In terms of those who were the special exhition guests, the figure was less than 50 thousand over the 15 years, starting with 28 thousand people in 1997 and ending with 42 thousand peole in 2012.
