four-day week and are willing to accept less payment
In the United States, many employees want to work a four-day week and are willing to accept less payment in order to do so. A passage claims that this option will benefit the whole economy and individuals who agree to take the option because it would increase company profits, reduce unemployment rates, and it will be better for individual employees. However, the lecture thinks the opposite.
First of all, shortened workdays wouldn’t actually increase company profits. Even though employees feel a lot more rested and alert, making them to make less mistakes in work, hiring more staff in order to ensure the same amount of work to be finished will cause more money to be paid into providing training and medical benefits that cost almost the same no matter the employees work four or five days. Moreover, more staff means that more office space and more computers to be offered. The sum of the cost of these factors may even result in the company to spend more.
Secondly, it doesn’t mean that once some workers choose shortened workdays, overall unemployment will decrease. Despite that more staff are hired as mentioned above, companies have other options such as making the employees work overtime or even raise expectations that workers should work the amount of five-days’ work in four days. If so, other jobs will be unavailable and current jobs may just become worse.
Finally, the option of shortened workdays prevents risks that could end up decreasing the quality of life of employees who choose to have this option. Even though the option offers more free time to employees, shortened workdays could reduce employees’ job stability, and chances are small if employees want to advance their careers. In fact, employees who choose to have shortened workdays are likely to be the first to lose their jobs during an economic downturn and be passed over promotions because companies prefer five-day employees to ensure continuous coverage and supervision for an entire workweek.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
