Some people think that success is the best measure for intelligence, while others think that intelligence can be measured in other ways.
What is your opinion?
These days many people have become concerned about intelligence measurements. Some believes that success is the ideal indicator, while others think that there are other factors. This essay will show that intelligence can be measured in many different ways, and not one by itself. The essay will discuss first the role that success play in measuring intelligence, afterwards it will discuss wether it’s the answer.
To begin with, success is an easy way for measuring and promoting intelligence. More and more geniuses are being seen reaching their top achivments in both academic and professional baths. In addition, these accomplishments made it easy to point fingers towards their brilliance. For example, Prof. Majdi Yaqoub has become one of the leading doctors worldwide. His educational researchs have been published in most of the high tier universities. In the mean time, his work is saving a lot everyday.
Secondly, being on top could be a way to recognize people, but it’s not about measuring how good they are. Some got lucky to hear the claps, while others were not. That doesn’t decide wether they’re intellegent or not. For exmple, a recent study from Oxford University showed that almost seventy percent of well potentialed people didn’t get the chance to succeed. This could be due to their financial status or some other circumstances. Furthermore, it’s a bit tricky to seprate lucky ones, from smart ones.
To sum up, success indeed make intellagence shine. On the other hand, it’s not a fully effective way to measure it. In my opinion, many intellegents didn’t get the chance. And while sucess can be considered a practical example, and might give credit to intellegence, yet it’s not the only way.
