Essay topics:

College and university education should be free for all students, fully financed by the government

The lecturer believes it would be a prosperous measure if the government free education for all students and finance them. This assertion basically can be challenged. As far as I am concerned, action to free education for all will culminate in economic and social problems and personally I recommend free education and funding must be assigned tactfully.

First of all, fully financing the education will result in an enormous cost for the government. As far as we know the government allocates a specific amount of budget for education and funding. Therefore, it is not possible to fully finance college and university education for all students. Not only the economic problems but social problems must be considered in this situation. Suppose what will happen if all young people incline towards education. Consequently there will be a decline in other occupations because everyone will have a tendency to anything free. On the other hand, a new job needs a significant amount of money to start and this will intensify their trend toward free education. As we can see economic and social balance will be distorted.

Second, it is quite reasonable that poor people need more support than wealthy people and poor people must be chosen in preference to others. Historical records clearly demonstrate a large number of ingenious scientists and doctors were indigent. One could imagine how they would have progress in knowledge if they had been supported completely and could have anything they need for their researches and experiments. Also everyone must have right for education and it's not acceptable that a large percentage of people won't be able to study in college or university. Moreover, efforts should be taken to control the illiteracy rate on country.

In addition, talented students also must be considered. some of them are genius at discoveries, applied science, ideas and industrial projects and a country extremely need such astute student for progress. According to statistics in Scientific Journals, many ideas and patents of these talented students used to initiate numerous industrial applied prosperous projects. In my opinion, these students absolutely need free education and complete financing.

In conclusion, as far as the issue is concerned I do not agree with the idea of free education for everyone to some extent and generally it is an absurd idea and will cause irreversible damage to economic and social structure of a country. I believe government should make a better policy. Tactful allocation as I clearly disgusted above might be a better policy. Poor and talented students are the best choices in this case.
