Direction: use the following words; render, imminent, scrumptious, mar, avarice, reticent, ludicrous, acquaintance, analyze, convoluted, auspicious, vivacious, adversary, cogent, and demise to write about how your day went yesterday. Minimum 300 words.
I woke up sound and healthy, the day was very auspicious and my surroundings were also vivacious. I prayed to God as usual and get up from my bed. My lesson is important as always, and that must be attended to. Therefore, my day has to be planned and guided, I did that swiftly, and brush my mouth, and straight to my reading table.
I started as planned, analyzing one convoluted topic on algebra, which I have been working on for some days, and as that was going on, my neighbor knocked on my door with this scrumptious appetizing breakfast, I didn’t hesitate to receive it from her, for I was wondering about my breakfast, since we’re asked to remain indoors. Thank you darling I said, and I shut the door and resumed my study.
While my study was still going, there was a noise downstairs, when I peeped through my window, the atmosphere seems dire, I tried to listen from the window, but was missing the information. In less than 5 minutes my neighbor showed up on my door with this sad news about the demise of an acquaintance, the tidings were unbearable for her, she couldn’t hold it, therefore she went downstairs to hear more about the decease, and the cause of his death. The information was that the guy was among those shot by soldiers last Saturday. I felt so pitiful, for I knew this guy.
I went back to my room and decided to take a nap for a while because the tidings have marred my lessons and couldn’t resume again. When I waked up, it’s already past five, I decided to take my bath and go look for dinner for the evening is imminent, there is also a curfew and it’s not a ludicrous matter with the law enforcement. Therefore, I did that fleetly and went down the street looking for what to eat, fortuitously for me I saw one vendor roasting corn, she looks pretty smart, and when I approached her, I asked how much are those? She said; 200. What! I replied, and she was reticent, in my mind I concluded not to pay the money because it was pricey and the young lady seems avaricious to me. So, I left and continue my wandering till I got to a place where I can have my dinner, though the environment wasn’t good enough, my paunch was dry and the sign it was giving is so cogently, which I couldn’t resist. No other alternatives, I managed everything and went back home.
Finally, my day circuitously interested and on the other hand irksome. Circuitously because of the breakfast and irksome because of the sad news, but in things to God be the glory, the day has come and gone, tomorrow will be more beneficial than today. I ended my day with prayer and thankfulness to God for how my day and everything went, rendering to God all adorations and praises for he is a wonderful God and has indeed shamed my adversary. For two hours or so, I was awake and later went to bed.
