is it better to use the car or public transport in your town or area

Without a doubt drive a private car has own advantages, but using public transportation in metropolitan cities like Mashhad is a wise decision.

Firstly, majority of roads in my town have special line for buses and taxi, so these vehicles could run away from traffic jam. It is clear that drive in private line cut the journey times. For example, if we want go to Ahmadabad Street and use regular lines it would be take half of an hour, however a taxi arrive to this destination less than a quarter. Thus, since time is very valuable today, the use of public transport will help us manage our time and use it properly.

Secondly, nowadays maintenance costs of car is increasing rapidly. Regular cost of each car is fuel and oil, although there are additional costs like car's insurance, buying new tires and so on. unlike of all budget we spend on our car, all means public transportation's ticket is in reasonable price. Thus, public transportation help us to save our money.

To sum up, my personal view is that we can use our car is some special occasions like go to parties and so on, for other purpose using public transportation seems to be more logical decision than drive a car.
