Essay topics:

Overpopulation of urban areas has led to numerous problems. Identify two serious ones and suggest ways that governments and individuals can tackle these problems.

Along with the development of technology and business, there are too many residents in urban areas. Simultaneously, the massive rise in population has resulted in some problems. This paragraph would list two adverse issues below and solutions to this issue as well.

Firstly, crime is the worst consequence in metropolitan areas. Densely-populated areas have a tendency to commit crimes more than uncrowded ones. It is due to the fact that the gap between the rich and the poor remains. Not only adults but also youngsters and children endeavor to steal money and rob stores. Therefore, the discrimination has to be wiped out first to ensure a friendly living environment. Drastic actions should be taken such as accommodating the homeless by constructing more community houses. Moreover, the government also has to raise resident’s awareness and level of education.

The second problem is the impacts on the environment. In megacities in which millions of people live, the environment gets really bad. The reason is the rise in residents will lead to the rise in public transport, garbage, food miles. The system that tackles garbage has not been advanced enough for the density of Hanoians. It is about time for the government to impose more strict laws in trash solving companies for a better environment. Also, each individual should keep an eye on every action of themselves to make the environment greener and cleaner.

It cannot be denied there are still many problems that we face on a daily basis due to overpopulation. The masses are to join hands in solving problems of overpopulation as soon as possible for a better future.
