There are many dangerous activities in the world, such as boxing, skydiving and bungee jumping. There are many people who get in accidents or die through these. Nevertheless, Many people love these things. Why are people attracted to these dangerous sports or other dangerous activities? I think it is because of these three reasons.
First, these are thrilling. Whatever it is, it is more fun to be thrilling than just having fun. This is why people like riding roller coasters. People can not stop feeling the thrill, because it is so addictive. Perhaps this is one of the most powerful reason. I will tell you a compelling example. My friend was originally afraid of water. She learned how to swim and now skuerlbing has become her hobby. Friend says that although she is still scared of water, now she cannot give up scuba diving because of her thrilling feelings.
Second, these give people a sense of accomplishment. We usually feel a sense of accomplishment when we have accomplished something difficult. This can be seen as a reason why they are doing dangerous sports or activities. Also, it can gain confidence as well as a sense of accomplishment. For example, a climber once said this on television. He said he could not stop challenging the higher mountains because he likes the feeling that has beaten himself in the past and he is developing and gaining more confidence through the challenge.
Last, some people think it is a life lesson. There are difficult moments in our lives. In this case, a lot of people are frustrated or in despair. Therefore, some people test themselves to develop problem-solving skills to prevent this situation, and in this dangerous activity, people can solve the problem in their own situation. In fact, I have heard that many rock climbers come to test themselves.
These are the three reasons why people are attracted to dangerous activities or sports. However, there are some really dangerous things, so no matter how fun it is, you should not just do it without thinking, but you have to wear a protective pad or with a professional.
