Essay topics:

Some cities create housing for the growing population by providing taller buildings. Other cities create housing by building on wider areas of land? What solution is better ?

In this contemporary life, there are more and more growing people living in cities, some cities support the growing population and have decided to build many skyscrapers. However, other cities prefer to create housing by building on large areas of land. This essay will examine both solutions and give the opinion which is more the best solution.
Admittedly, there are some arguments in favor of cities choosing to provide taller buildings for the growing population. First, government subsidies for building are believed to equalize living conditions among young adults regardless of their background family. This taller building support presumably tends not only to increase the overall population rate of lower-income people but also to mitigate their feeling of inferiority. For example, taller buildings can have attractions to many visitors and become the symbol of that country, can grow the economy and change living standards. Second, taller buildings would result in a higher number of highly qualified workers, which benefits society in the long run. In fact, it is acknowledged that taller buildings are more suitable for university students and living in a short time or support the tourist.
Nevertheless, building in a wider area of land could help the government to save the financial, meaning that there would be more input to develop other important areas such as healthcare systems and transport infrastructure. In addition, this solution would tempt many people including those who are not on the terms of money or show no interest in living in a big city, thereby adding a great population in modern life and spreading positive energy and potentially encouraging them to do hard-work even though they have a good life. It, instead, would be a more viable option if the resources were focused on supporting less privileged yet gifted people.
In conclusion, despite the advantages of taller buildings, I believe it’s more suitable for upper class people than for everyone. From my perspective, governments need to consider before do that solution to grow population.
