In the future, nobody will buy newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree
With the increasing development of technology, Internet has become much more familiar to people because of so many purposes such as texting, paying, or even reading online. It is said that all individuals can read anything they prefer online which is completely free instead of wasting money to buy newspapers or books in the future. In my perspective, I totally agree with this argument due to some reasons provided in this essay.
First of all, that diversity and timely updates are one of the major reasons that make reading online become more and more common. What I want to illustrate is that the Internet provides people news or information from so many different sources which can help people observe opposite views from other readers. Furthermore, if books just contain the information at the time they were published, the data of online reading is always updated day by day so that individuals will not miss or have to wait for the hot news. For instance, students nowadays usually search their knowledge on the Internet because all of their textbooks published 15 years ago have been outdated and almost all data has been changed.
In addition, the persuasive reason is related to the cost of printed material. I mean people have to pay such a lot of money to consume these books and newspapers, even can reach several hundred thousand VND while they can easily enjoy it online with a varied range of choices without wasting money. To make it clear, Harry Potter, one of the most famous novels in the world including many series, each of which is highly expensive. So to possess the full ones, readers may waste a large amount of money meaninglessly.
In conclusion, books are still a kind of tradition however due to several reasons given below, I believe book-consuming will witness a downward trend in the future which means reading online will be the top choice for people.
