You would like to buy some electrical goods at a shop in a nearby town.
Write a letter to the shop and ask if they have the things you want or whether they will be able to order them. Ask what the prices are and how long they will be able to hold the goods for you.
You do NOT need to write any addresses
Dear Sir,
I am planning to buy a digital camera and computer tablet and writing this letter to enquire about the availability of these items at your shop.
I intend to procure digital camera for my personal use as I am going for vacation in India. The camera should be of reputed brands such as Canon, Sony and must be minimum 16 pixels. Besides, features like automatic scene choice, wifi connectivity is also required. It need not be a DSLR high zoom camera but optical zoom of more than 5 would be useable as it helps to take picture from distance. In addition, computer tablet of Samsung make is in my buy list for my daughter who would use this for watching online courses and bit of entertainment purpose like listening songs, watching you tube videos.
First of all, I would like to know the prices of these items because budget is my primary concern and it would be good if you mention the cost with and without taxes as local government keeps on altering the tax structure. Furthermore, how long would be able to hold these items for me after depositing the booking amount? It any of the items are not in your inventory, can it be ordered and what would be lead time to make it available.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
PADMA
