Effects of tutoring program for college students
Some people believe that having tutors is necessary for college students whereas others claim that students should study independently instead of receiving help from private teachers. From my point of view, to succeed in academic studying, learners should hire a trainer for three reasons: to understand difficult academic contents, find out a new research direction and achieve good marks on the exams.
The first benefit of having a tutor is that students can overcome problems of academic lessons. For instance, mathematics usually too difficult for most students; thus, if they do not understand previous lessons, they cannot catch up with later ones. Therefore, they ask tutors for explaining difficult content more clearly; as a result, students can overcome difficult studying stages and get more success.
Another positive point of receiving supporting from tutors is that students can find out research fields which are suitable with their ability. Many learners get trouble in choosing what to study because they have a lack of experience in recognizing gaps in researches. Hence, they have to ask tutors who have a lot researches for help.
Finally, the most important reason for getting tutors is strong desires to achieve high results in the exams from students which bring many good opportunities for seeking a job. They ask trainers for help to review lessons before each exam in order to have deep comprehension of subjects.
In summary, tutors can help students comprehend strongly class lessons, recognize appropriate research topics and gain good marks in the exams. However, students should not depend totally on private trainers but get used to studying independently.
