Effects of reducing class size

Many people believe that classes which have a large number of students result to a great deal of disadvantages. Therefore, they prefer small- size classes to large- size ones. Which advantages are there in the low-density classes? This essay will present some positive effects of classes with a few students on both educational facilitators and learners.
For teachers, small- size classes make them have more time to pay attention on the progress, problems and performance of each their pupil. For example, it is not difficult for educators to detect students who absented from school; then, they inform the students’ parents to find out causes and solve the problem timely. Besides, educational facilitators may devote a significant portion of their time and energy for each student by testing his knowledge to give some valuable advice for him in studying to achieve better results. Especially, they can make the classes become an ideal learning environment since there is an effective interaction between not only teachers and students but also students and students.
Moreover, low-density classes also have positive effects on learners. They can approach easily their teachers; for instance, students can give their lecturers some questions about content of lessons that they still do not understand. In addition, in small- size classes, learners can pay much more attention to lessons than in big- size ones. Hence, they can easily obtain important knowledge from subjects, so they can gain high marks in the exams.
In summary, there are some benefits in small- size classes. Therefore, to gain a high quality on teaching and learning, it is very important to maintain classes with small number of students.
