According to the chart, the percentage of food on restaurant wasted 10% in 1985. Then, the amount increased in the following years. The amount reached 15%, 35% in 1990 and 2000 respectively. Fortunately, the budget spent on restaurant was as much as that of at home.
As we can see in the graph, the average amount of food eaten in both fast-food and sit-down restaurants were the same number 20 per year in 1980. People ate slightly more frequently, eating 5 times more at sit-down restaurants than in fast-food in 1990. The times of fast-food meal consumption was 55 while only 45 in sit-down in 2000. In 2010, the eating frequency of fast-food even doubled to 85 while just 50 in sit-down.
In conclusion, from 1980 until 2015, the number of customers spent more on fast-food in restaurants in the latter years, of which budget is bigger than the previous years.
