The diagram shows the stages and equipment used in cement making process and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The given diagram represents the steps and machinery employed in the cement manufacturing process and the way how cement is used to produce can create for infrastructure purpose.
There are four main steps in cement manufacturing from; crushing to the grinding, whereas concrete manufacturing involve only one step, that is, mixing the raw material provided.
At the first stage, the raw material, that is, limestone and clay is fed in the crusher to form the powder.Further, the powder is mixed well in the mixture and passed from a rotating heater for heating purpose.In last step,the heated mixture is ground well in the grinder to form cement.The cement is further packed in bags for shipping purpose.
Moving further, in concrete preparation cement, water, sand and gravel are added in the concentration of 15%, 10%, 25% and 50% respectively. the whole raw material is mixed in concrete mixer to form the final product.
