You normally go shopping in the area where you live. However, you think some of the facilities for shoppers could be improved.
Write a letter to your local newspaper. In your letter:
• say in general what you like about shopping in your area
• say what is wrong with the facilities
• suggest how they can be improved
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to draw your attention towards the frequent traffic jams near central mall in city center which is one of the busiest streets in the city.
To begin with, City center is a favorite stop for all the shopaholic people around the city because it offers huge varieties of products at affordable price. I am one of the frequent visitors to the place because it is one stop destination to purchase all the household items. However, as the area is little congested, the unavailability of parking space is a key contributor to this traffic. People without a choice have to leave their vehicles on the road while they are shopping. Thus, it is the time when as citizen we seek authorities’ involvement.
Nevertheless, there is a vacant and unused ground at the end of the street which can be effectively utilized to construct a paid parking for the shoppers. In this way, not only traffic problem can be addressed but it can generate revenue for maintenance of market. This means hitting two birds with a single bow.
I look forward to hearing from you and your active participation in this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Sandip Ramani
