You are invited to the former classmates’ party organized by one of the classmates. Write a letter to the host about the following:
- Tell that you like to participate in organization of the party
- Share about something relevant that is happening in your life.
- As some information about other friends who will possibly join the party
Dear Dave,
How are you doing? I hope this letter finds you in good health and mental peace. I am really excited about the get-together that you’re planning next month and so grateful for the invitation.
If it is fine, I am interested to get involved in the organization of such events. Not only I have a degree in event management but also successfully orchestrating a family reunion next week, which is solely planned and conducted by me. As both the events are almost same in nature, I think, my experience can really come handy. Besides, I have conducted a thorough research about the catering services and party theme, which can be quite useful at this occasion as well.
Furthermore, could you please tell me who all have been invited so far? Since we are reuniting after a long time, missing out someone will not be justifiable and make few of our friends very upset. I am still in touch with a lot of our classmates and some of them have not received an invite, in case you want me to extend the invitation.
Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon.
Best Wishes,
Sandip
