Dear Jessica,
I hope you are doing great. I was happy to receive a letter from you after such a long time. I understand that you are in a dilemma about your career whether to opt for college or search for a job.
I believe it's high time you search for a job. Firstly, you have completed Post-Graduation and many companies are welcoming fresh graduates. Secondly, in case, you choose to go to college again, you will be labelled as over-qualified with zero experience after two or three years. Finally, I suggest you to get a job and work for at least two years.
Furthermore, I think you would neither enjoy nor get much out of college now. The main reason is that you are already a Post-Graduate and you would possibly be the older person in your class. Students will certainly not mingle with you or you would be respected too much for being senior and a graduate already. Therefore, in my opinion going to college wouldn't be the best idea.
Moreover, going to work will absolutely be a great choice, because, you will get to know how things work in the outside world. Wouldn't you enjoy putting your knowledge and learning in practice rather than mugging up books again? I ensure you that you will be excited doing a job, if you choose the one which works out for you. Although you might not want to work now, it will be beneficial for you in the future.
So, if you ask me, I spirit you up to opt for doing a job. However, I will buoy up any decision taken by you.
I look forward to hearing your resolution.
Till next time,
Rena.
