Media is very efficient way to spread information out. Some type of them you can see above and I am going to mention about those which play main role in communicating information. They are books, radio and television which I think the most effective out of six media. First, I am going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these media in separate paragraphs.
If we look at the television we can see more advantages of it for communicating information. Majority of people spend at least an hour to watch TV, so it is the best way to spread information. Moreover, you can also watch the information on TV at the same time listening it. Consequently, the item shown on TV remains in mind for long time. However, if there is no electricity in an area, surely people cannot get information from it.
Books do also have a particular role in sharing information. One of the most significant advantages of books is that you are able to use it anytime you want. On the other hand, it requires a great deal of time to read the whole book in order to get information, while there are other ways which you can do it in short time.
Today many people who drive a car switch on their car’s radio, hence it also spreads information efficiently. Radio has the same disadvantage as TV, influence of the electricity. Moreover, we do not remember all of the things we have heard.
To summarize, in my opinion television is the most effective way to share information. Also, the information get from television is easy to remember, since you can watch at the same time listening and it is much cheaper than books.
