You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
Say where you think you left the papers
Explain why they are so important
Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.
Dear Mike
I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am very much excited to inform you that the Stanford University, London has approved my application for Masters in Computer Technology. All visa related procedures are expected to be completed by the end of this month.
My classes will begin in the month of September. I will be having classes only 5 days a week from 8 am to 2 pm. That means I will be free in the afternoon. As you know, the cost of living is pretty high in London. Moreover, I don’t have enough funds left with me, so I would like to find a part time job. I can work in the evenings and on the weekends.
Since you have been living in London for several years, I hope you can help me find a part-time job. I remember you were also doing part time jobs during your studies. I can work in restaurants, shops, factories or offices. I will be grateful for your help.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Best regards
Gautam
