The pictures below show how tomato ketchup is made.
The diagram illustrates the way in which tomato ketchup is produced. Overall, there are 15 key stages in the process, starting with harvesting tomatoes and ending with delivering the products to the customers.
The first stage of the whole process is that the tomatoes are picked and put in a basket. The tomatoes have been sorted before the good ones are sent to a factory in order to be removed stalk, skin, and seeds. At the sixth stage, these tomatoes are crushed in a container where flavors (sugar, vinegar, and salt) are added to.
At the next stage, the ketchup is boiled and then left for two hours. After that, this ketchup is poured into jars which are stuck labels then. After having been checked standard requirements, the quality ketchup is then packed into boxes. And at the end of the whole ketchup producing process, these goods are delivered to supermarkets where the customers purchase them.
