Besides a lot of advantages, some people believe that the internet creates many problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement.
Although some people believe that Internet is a boon to the human race, some criticize as it creates difficulties. Personally, I completely agree that Internet causes many problems.
Internet changed the way we connect to the world. Through technological innovation, now we can communicate and exchange information in a matter of seconds. But still, people who tend to be online, for long hours, get addicted to that. The near and dear ones may not feel their presence, lacking human interaction. Some people tend to reveal so much of their personal information on social networking sites. For example, when a mother shares his family pictures on her Facebook wall and being shared by her family members, it may land on the hands of child kidnappers.
As internet is considered as the ocean of knowledge and resources, it allows a student to access to a limitless amount of capital. Nevertheless, it also distracts him/her. Moreover, a great amount of offensive, obscene content and video clips on the internet may divert their attention to a wrong end.
Banking and shopping have been made convenient by the usage of internet. Indeed, we are supposed to share our wealthy personal information with them. Personally, it makes me uncomfortable when I need to answer the security questions like “Your first telephone number, The name of your first pet”, while filling the online registration forms.
In conclusion, given the benefit of doubt, though internet has a lot of benefits, it also has some negative aspects which should be handled by governmental rules and regulatory authorities, and also by parental guidance.
