You successfully passed a job interview. You are expected to start on November 15, but you will not be available on that date. Task: Write a letter to your new boss, explaining your situation, expressing your concern and suggesting a solution.
Dear Sir,
hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter in reference to allow me additional days as I will not be able to join on November 15 due to the below reasons.
As you are aware that I will be relocating from Delhi to Bangalore for this work assignment, my mover has delayed the shipment of items by a few days due to some issues with his labour. I would also like to highlight apart from this my existing employer has extended my handover process by a couple of days. I am little concerned looking at the present situation and would like to suggest to delay my joining by week so that I complete these formalities and relocation process.
I would like to thank the company for shortlisting me and providing me with an opportunity to work with your esteemed organization. I believe this experience will be invaluable for me and I am already excited to get started.
I hope you will give a due consideration to my request.
Yours sincerely
Vinshu
