The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in
a European country between 1979 and 2004.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make
comparisons where relevant.

the line graph describes how much fish and meat was weekly consumed by a European country from 1979 to 2004
overall, while the figure for chicken increased significantly, the consumption of other given food items showed an opposite pattern. also, fish remained to be the least favored kind of protein source over the recorded period.
Turning to the details, about 220 grams of beef were eaten per week, which was also the highest number shown in 1979.Fish, however, accounted for nearly one-fourth of that amount, with just over 50 grams. Regarding the two remaining categories ( chicken and lamb), the weekly consumption was more or less 150 grams.
Until 2004, there was a downward trend in beef consumption, with a drop of around 100 grams. the same pattern can be seen in lamb sector, with an approximately 90-gram decrease. By contrast, people tended to eat more chicken, whose figure rose to a high of about 260 grams in the eventual year.
