The world’s forests are facing increasing pressure which, if left unchecked, will threaten the health of many industries, economies, nations, and lives. The development of an international fund to help developing countries implement useful conservation

Both the reading and the lecture are about creation of international funds for decreasing forest pressure. Author of the reading suggests the way how to spend them such as way to distribute. But, the lecturer rebuts that the author of the reading believes.

The passage suggests that distribution of the funds to the governments, landowners and farmers to help agricultural areas to be not interrupted. The speaker of the listening thinks that the modern technology that they will bring with the funds can increase the waste or the water pollution as well.

The second solution that the writer brought is using the money for the developing economies of villages near the forest areas. The opposite opinion from the suggestion from the text is money for the developing village would go to different area than we aimed. Furthermore, the lecture does not think the money will be used properly.

Author of the reading remarks about the preventing exploitative forest particles by helping people on providing education, health services. He believes that the people will plant without commercial purpose; he says people will have purpose, them it would not work.
