The tables show the comparison of fairtrade for coffee and bananas which was sold in five European sections around 1999 and 2004. It is measured in millions of euros. In general, it can be seen that the sale of coffee and bananas had a different increase in some countries. UK got a dramatic increase for coffee and Switzerland for bananas. Unfortunately, sales of bananas in Denmark and Sweden decreased slightly in 2004.
At the beginning of the first table, Switzerland that was the highest coffee sales in 1999 obtained second position in 2004. While UK received the largest sale of coffee in 2004. It rising 18,5 million euros was 15,5 higher than Switzerland. And the lowest positions were Denmark and Sweden that each only rose around 0,2 million of euros.
In the second table, Switzerland obtaining the uppermost sales of bananas in 1999 and 2004 climbed 32 million euros. It was more elevated than UK that only grew 4,5 million euros in 2004. Meanwhile, Sweden going down around 0,8 million euros was the undermost bananas sales and it was 0,3 million lesser than Denmark.
