Overall, the price of Outokumpu’s share experienced numerous striking changed before standing at a little bit lower point compared to the starting point.
It is evident that in the first two studied years, the share price of the company was noticeably higher. Starting at about 13 euros in 2006, the price escalated and peaked at 32 euros in the beginning of 2007. Despite a downward trend until the early 2008, it climbed dramatically to approximately 30 euros after six months.
However, afterwards the company went through a period in which its share price was much lower than in the previous years. The figure suddenly plunged to a low of only seven euros per share at the end of 2008. After a small recovery, several volatilities were witnessed and at the end of 2009, investors could buy the company’s share with around 12 euros per share.
