The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.

The line graph gives the information about the number of people receiving the inquiry questions in the first six months in the year of 2014 by some specific ways.
It can be observed that the number of people who had an interview from the Tourist Office’s staffs grew up dramatically during the survey period from around 400 to approximate 1900. Whereas, the figures of people surveyed by letter or email has a downward trend. The number of people had dropped sharply for 3 months before decreasing gradually for the first 3 months in the survey. By the end of the survey time, the number of inquired people by mail or letter had maintained at below 400.
In contrast, starting at about 900, the figures of people interviewed on telephone declined slightly to 800 before increasing noticeable on March. The figure had stood at 1000 for a month, then increased substantially up to 1400. The number of surveyed people via telephone kept rising and at the end of the survey, this number achieved at approximate 1600.
In general, there was an up-ward trend for the number of people who received the enquires via telephone and in person. Meanwhile, that of people who were interview by letter or mail decline noticeably during the survey.
