The portrayal illustrates the developments which took place coastal town of Templeton between 1990 and 2005.
In 2005, there were incredible developments and revolutions compare with 1990. There were much environmental residential area with a large quantity of trees and personal houses in 1990. However, the town experienced a number of significant changes during the 25 years. The most conspicuous is that, majority of trees west of river were cut down, individual houses which in south also knocked down, the lower side was replaced by flats instead of them.
All of the trees east of the river were stumped and replaced by airport behind the school. The woodland of south-east side of the map was cleared to make new industrial estate with factory, it sprang up roughly in front of the houses and car parking facilities. Furthermore, changes were the destruction of individual house and green land near the house and car parking. A railway which was east of the map was straight directly west going pass bridge.
Overall, a comparison of two maps was reveals a change from a largely rural to a mainly urban landscape.
