You have lost your student identification card. This has created some problems for you.
Write a letter to the director of student services. In your letter
• advise them of your situation
• explain how this is affecting you
• request a new card
Dear Sir,
I am writing here to inform you that I have lost the student identification card last Thursday. I have looked at every possible places where I might have misplaced it, but unfortunately I could not find it. I could not attend my class yesterday because of this and now I have collected guest pass to enter university compound for scheduled lectures. it costs 200 tk to issue the pass and I have to fill up a form which is time consuming. As a result, this process is not cost effective for long term and can hamper the morning seminars I have. Moreover, I can not borrow books and DVDs from library without student id card. Computer lab has already refused me from issuing campus laptop this afternoon though I have offered them the photocopy of student id card. Therefore, I request you for a replacement option. I have sent all the necessary documentation to the student record center along with the filed case from local jail.
it would be very helpful if you can consider the situation and issue a new student identification card as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Shahla
