The given line graph compares the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office regarding the way they were transmitted: in person, electronic or current mail, or by telephone. The data shown goes from January to June 2011.
Queries presented in person have suffered a dramatic rising during the 6-month period, from 400 to 1900.
However, for those requests submitted by phone, the ascend have been less pronounced, starting with a higher number (900 approximately in January) to 1600 in June.
By contrast, although letters and emails sent to the office remained around 700 during the first 3 months of 2011, then experienced a slight drop to almost 400 in May, keeping the same numbers in June.
Overall, the chart shows that even though there was no significant difference in the way of remote communication in January 2011 (around 800 calls and 800 letters or emails) and a 50% less of face-to-face requests, the number of people choosing a personal talk (whether going or calling to the office) now is much more relevant than those who prefer to send a written request.
