TPO 24 Integrated TOEFL Writing
The article discusses fascinating topic pertaining to discovery the materials that showed the remains of blood vessels, red blood cells, and collagen in the Trex’s leg bone and provides three reasons of support, however, the professor explains that this claim is somewhat skeptical and opposes each of the author’s reasons.
First, the reading passage discusses that the channels that scientist found in fossilized leg bone demonstrated the remains of the location that vessels were. In contrast, the professor provides information that this idea is not true. He states that bacteria possibly existed there. They create a colony in the bone tissues and create a hole that caused the scientific assumed this place is a trace of vessels.
Second, the article pushes forth the idea that the presence of spheres in the different part of inner bone prove that remains of blood cells. However, the professors revealed that if these remains were the blood cells residues, they had to be similar in their shape but they did not. As a result, they might be remains of reddish materials.
Finally, the reading posits that scientists confirmed the presence of the collagen in the leg bone of a dinosaur. The professor refutes this point by explaining that the collagen could not last long term because this kind of tissue decomposes very quickly. He says it is impossible that collagen remained in bone through millions of years, this claim completely contradicts with the proved scientific subjects about collagen. Professor thinks these materials may be the skin of the researcher that worked on the dinosaur.
