The Diagram below shows the stages and equipment used in the cement-making process, and how cement is used to produce concrete for building purposes.
The diagram above depicts the steps and tools used in the process of making cement, and how cement is used in concrete production for constructional purposes.
Overall, the cement-making process is complex, as it consists of numerous stages and requires various equipment. In contrast, concrete production is more straightforward and need only a few ingredients.
At the beginning of cement production, the crusher makes powder from limestone and clay. Next, this powder goes through the mixer and the rotating heater, where it gets heated by fire. Afterwards, the heated powder goes to the grinder. Finally, the cement is ready to be put on bags and be used in the concrete-making process.
The process of manufacturing concrete is quite simple. it starts with mixing cement, water, sand, and gravel (small stones) together. The proportion of each component is 15%, 10%, 25%, and 50%, respectively. All these four components go to the concrete mixer. Once the mixture is spun there, it is ready to be used in construction.
