As for both Italy and Portugal, the amount of emissions of carbon dioxide in these country have similar pattern of change and only climbed during the a given period. in nearly 1987, it in Italy overtook Sweden at around 7 metric tonnes and reached to a little less than 8 remaining constant to 2007. Similarly, between 1967 and 1997 a number of CO2 emissions have risen from almost 1 metric tonnes before remaining at barely 5.5 metric tonnes to 2007.
Overall, as we have seen, emissions of CO2 in Sweden fluctuated more than other countries and decreased by higher amount than these countries.
