Write a letter to a financial organisation that gives money to students who would like to take a part-time course.
Write a letter to a local financial organisation. In your letter
• give your qualifications and work experience
• give details about the course
• explain how this course will help you
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to request you to inquire about student loan schemes that your bank grants for aspiring students or professionals to help them to finish their skill development courses as a part-timer.
Let me explain my situation in detail. I am Bachelor Graduate in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University and work for a construction company as a Planning Engineer with the total work experience of five years. As by profession I am working in a planning department so I need to learn advanced software skills to develop my career and do well in my work field.
The skill development course I am looking to enroll in to, offers comprehensive three-month course intended to enhance my Planning software skills. It includes Primavera P6, Microsoft Project Professional and many others which are in line with the growth of my career. The total cost of this course is INR 50,000.
As per current industry demand and competition, most of the construction companies are entering in turn-key contracts which involves execution of many activities. In order to prepare and check the schedule which includes huge amount activities in MS Excel is not practical and make this task next to impossible. To cope up with the company need, I see no other alternatives than learning this course. However, I need financial help as this course is quite expensive.
I hope you will disburse the loan amount to me and I will repay this amount in monthly installment over the period of 2 years.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Rakesh Soni
