The line chart compares the percentage of visitors to four different attractions over the period of thirty years from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, the number of tourists to castle and zoo increased significantly whereas the proportion to festival and aquarium decreased moderately.
After increasing to reach the peak to nearly 45% in 1995, the number of people visiting castle went down approximately 34%. At the same time, aquarium’s visitors gradually fluctuated around 10% to 15%. During the next period from 2000 to 2010, while the tourists to castle still decreased slightly around 33%, the figure of zoo leaped with over 20%.
As can be seen from the graph, in 1980, the festival was the most attractive place to visitors compared to 20% for Aquarium. There was a growth in a number of tourists to aquarium before decreasing back to approximate 20%. This figure continued to decrease to 10% in the final year 2010. On the contrary, despite starting at the highest point, the number of travelers to festival reduced steadily over the period.
