You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
- say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
- explain why getting a job is good idea for him/her
- suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Dear joy,
I received your letter two days back and glad to see that you achieved a good rank in your high school studies and now you are seeking guidance for your next move towards a job or further education by attending a college. I would love to guide you on this matter. In regards to your question, I'll advise you to try to get a job first rather than going for college to do further studies. The most prominent reason behind this is that if you enroll yourself for college studies you will get only theoretical knowledge; therefore, some times it may not be helpful to step up your career and it remains as useless and waste of time.
In current time, getting hired is not a piece of cake and it may take time, proper efforts and practical skills. In other words, getting a job and getting
educational degrees are way different and as per your current education and age it will be perfect to get a job which will give you a practical knowledge
and experience which will boost up your knowledge, attitude, and skills drastically.
Now if I suggest you about the type of jobs you should go for rather than first priority should be relevant to your field and for that, you should try for Junior level account assistant either Admin executive or go for Human Resource executive. Needless to say that you can able to crack interviews for these fields
as you have gathered educational degrees related to this.
I hope after reading this letter you are assured to go for Career option over college studies. I'll be happy to hear your thoughts on this as well as any queries.
Your's faithfully,
Anky
