The bar chart illustrates how much France and UK's consumer had spent on different goods in 2010. These goods were cars, computers, books, perfume, and cameras.
In the first glance, it was noticeable that most of the consumer in France and the UK spent a lot on having cars, which were 400,000 pounds and 450,000 pounds respectively. Additionally, both electronic devices, computers and cameras, were popular in the UK, but the consumer in France had the least interest in cameras. The expenditure on computers in both countries was almost the same, it was only around 30,000 pounds difference. However, the spending on cameras had a huge difference between these two countries, which was 210,000 in different.
As can be seen, citizens in the UK had more interest to spend on books than in France. 400,000 pounds had been spent on books from the UK consumer and 300,000 pounds had been spent from people in France. Perfume, on the other hand, was the least spending in the UK, which was only approximately 140,000 pounds.
To sum up, having own transportation was the top priority in both countries.
