YOU HAD BORROWED A BOOK FROM LIBRARY. HOWEVER, WHEN YOU REACHED HOME, YOU FOUND THAT SOME IMPORTANT PAGES WERE TORN AWAY. WRITE A LETTER TO THE LIBRARIAN EXPLAINING THE SITUATION. YOU SHOULD

SUGGEST WHAT CAN BE DONE
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am an engineering student of the 2nd semester from Civil branch. Recently I borrowed the book "Transistor and Devices" from the library and I found that the book was not in good condition. Allow me to elaborate on the problem in detail.
When I borrowed the book due to some urgent issues, I was not able to check it immediately. After starting preparation at home with that book,I realized there are many pages which are missing. In which, pages of Chapter 8 and chapter 9 completely tear out, numbering from 17-25. I don't know either somebody did it intentionally or without any purpose but, students may face a problem since the exams are near.
To resolve this issue, I request you to make some strict rule of issuing books such as checking books thoroughly before submission. If any student found giving back torn or damaged book then, he/ she should be penalized. This step will enhance the life of books.
I hope you will consider my request soon.
Yours sincerely,
Rekha Rastogi
