The two picture illustrate the process of producing cement and how this cement is used to make concrete.
In general, it can be seen that there are 5 main steps in cement production, while only 2 stages are required to produce concrete.
At the first of making cement, limestone and clay are crushed and become powder before mixing. Following that, this powder is brought into a rotating heater where it is heated in high temperature. In the next step, the mixtures are grinded and then cement is produced. Finally, cement is packaged into bags and is prepared for producing concrete.
The production of concrete uses many materials include: cement, water, sand and gravel in proportion of 15%, 10%, 25% and 50% respectively. All ingredients are mixed together by concrete mixer. Final process is that concrete is created for building purposes.
