You and your family are living in a rented accommodation in an English speaking country. You are not satisfied with the condition of some of the furniture.
Write a letter to the landlord. In your letter
introduce yourself
explain what is wrong with the furniture
say what action you would like the landlord to take
Dear Sir,
my name is Mohit Ratnu, I am new tenant of your property located at 13 stanford street, Wellard. I have recently shifted here and I would like to inform you about the adversities which I am facing at my rented house.
Though we discussed that your house is fully furnished and we were ensured that we will not have any kind of trouble, door of the Elvira in my room is not locking properly. Consequently, I cannot put my precious things into locker. Secondly, in the kitchen, drawers are broken and my wife is unable to place crockary in it. As we are new in this country, we do not have adequate knowledge regarding the carpenter who can fix these issues.
Therefore, I would like to request you to take necessary actions as early as possible because it is arduous for us to live in this situation or pay the bill of the repairing cost.
I hope, you will take some profound steps and reply me at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,
Mohit Ratnu
