The table below shows the figures for imprisonment in five countries between 1930 and
1980.

The bar chart shows a comparison of the number of imprisonment in the five countries over a period of 50 years starting from 1930.
According to the bar chart, first of all, it could be seen that till 1960, Great Britain had a smaller number of imprisonment among the other countries. Added, in this country, the amount of people who were convicted to the jail had a gradual increase from 25 to 80 thousands until 1980.
Based on the table, Canada, New Zealand and Australia experienced some changes in the number of jailer, eventually they experienced a gradual declining from 1930 to 1980. It is immediately apparent from the table that US enjoys fluctuations in the imprisonment's figures. As it can be observed, it had overall increasing in imprisonment during 50 years.
To wrap it up, form five countries, three of them have decreased the crimes which led to imprisonment declining. On the other hand, US and great Britain had a increasing in the figures of imprisonment during 50 years that illustrate the crimes's increasing.
