The table shows the amount of money given in aid of technology of developing countries by charities in the US, EU and other countries from 2006 to 2010
The given table illustrates the change in donations from three groups of healthy nations for fund of technology of unhealthy ones between 2006 and 2010.
Overall, the total amount of fundraising money was nearly doubled over the period shown. Interestingly, the US was recorded as the biggest donator in all time with the spending being many time higher than others’.
In 2006, the US donated $9.7billion to sponsor technology in developing nations, compared to just 3.3 and 2.7 billion dollar from EU and other countries, respectively. The year 2008 witnessed a remarkable increase in the America’s funding, reaching 13.5 billion dollar while there were no significant changes from EU and other countries.
Over the period of 5 years, US kept a continuous and considerable raise in giving aid to developing nations to end the year 2010 at 22.7 billion dollar, being account for more than two-third of total funding. In contrast, EU and other countries experienced slight fluctuations in their sponsorships with ending amount were 4.2 for the former and 3.7 billion dollar for the later.
Regarding to total expenditures received by poor nations, the figure for 2006 was 15.2 billion dollar and it was approximately twice time as at the period ended.
