You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help
Dear Sharon,
Trust you are doing great and I thank God I'm finally able to put pen to paper. I'm actually writing to tell you that I've been offered a provisional admission at the University of Toronto and would need your help in securing a part-time job.
I am coming to Canada for a two-years course and the course is Masters In Information Technology. The course will give me a better leverage in my profession in the future and will improve my CV immensely. It's actually a 12-months theoretical course, with a year internship at a given company pre-arranged by the college. The hands on experience is also without pay but it's ok by me.
However, I need to get a part-time job to aid in the tuition and living expenses as my current savings cannot cover all. In addition, working will give me an added advantage of improving my Curriculum vitae.
Nonetheless, I am asking for your help in securing a job as you are well conversant with the area and must have built your contacts. I don't mind any job, would prefer to work from 8am to 3pm as my lectures typically starts at 4pm daily.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Tiffany Thompson
